Heat pump in a house with an area of 180 м²: installation under our support
The customer contacted us, which already had a heating system installed in a house with an area of 180 м². Due to high heating costs, it was decided to install a more economical solution - a heat pump.
The peculiarity of this project was that, that the installation itself was carried out by the customer himself. We provided full technical support: advised, helped with the selection of equipment, drew up a connection diagram and instructed at each stage. Thanks to this approach, it was possible to combine savings on installation with professional quality of implementation..
Site analysis and equipment selection
After studying all the features of the house and the already installed heating system, which includes underfloor heating and radiators, it was decided to install heat pump Raymer RAY-18DS1-EVI (220V) power 18 kW. This solution allows you to efficiently heat House area 180 м² and provide comfort during the cold season.
For stable operation of the equipment under conditions of possible voltage drops, an additional stabilizer was installed Stabex VS-10KVA на 10 kW.
Also worth noting, that before installing the heat pump, a solar collector was already installed in the house, which allows you to partially cover the needs for hot water and reduces the load on the main system.
Stages of completed work
1. Installation of the Raymer RAY-18DS1-EVI outdoor unit
The outdoor unit of the heat pump was mounted on the terrace of the house. This convenient location provides good access to equipment, adequate ventilation and protection from damage. The installation was carried out by the customer himself according to our instructions.
The unit is mounted on a metal base with anti-vibration pads, which ensures structural stability and reduces noise levels during operation. The connection is made carefully: coolant pipelines are reliably insulated, and cable connections – isolated. A separate pipe is provided for condensate drainage, taken outside the terrace.
The length of the freon route is 8 m.
Result – clean, technically competent installation, which the customer completed with his own hands under our support.
2. Installation of the indoor unit and integration into the heating system
Raymer heat pump indoor unit installed in technical room, where a solid fuel heating system with a hydraulic storage tank previously operated. Thanks to the existing infrastructure, the connection went smoothly.
The hydraulic module is mounted on the wall at the top - with convenient access for maintenance. The connection is made carefully, using thermal insulation materials. Clearly visible, How a heat pump is integrated into an existing heating circuit with a buffer tank (wrapped in red insulation) and expansion tank.
You can also see in the photo:
-
circulation pump with built-in pressure and temperature sensors;
-
automation system, which allows you to control the operation of the heat pump remotely via Wi-Fi;
-
additional sensors and taps, simplifying system maintenance and monitoring.
The customer performed the entire installation independently, following our detailed instructions - from connection to start-up. The result is a modern heating system, which harmoniously combines new energy-efficient equipment with existing engineering.
3. Installation of Stabex VS-10KVA stabilizer
To protect the heat pump and other equipment from voltage surges, a voltage stabilizer Stabex VS-10KVA. This solution allows you to avoid system failures, especially in the conditions of an unstable power grid.
The stabilizer is installed in the technical room next to the electricity meter and wiring. It provides stable power supply as for the heat pump itself, same for everyone automation systems. The power of the device is sufficient for full operation heat pump on 18 kW with all associated loads.
Since the installation was carried out by the customer himself, we provided detailed instructions by correct connection, including separate power supply, grounding and load check before starting.
Result — the system has become more secure and stable, which is especially important during the heating season.
Heat pump features Raymer RAY-18DS1-EVI
Energy Saving:
The heat pump provides up to 80% savings electricity by using heat from the environment. This significantly reduces costs compared to traditional heating methods (electroplated, solid fuel boilers, etc.).
Environmental friendliness:
Refrigerant used R410A safe for the environment, reduces CO₂ emissions and contributes to the fight against climate change.
Quiet operation:
The pump works almost silently, making it ideal for residential installations. Built-in cooling function helps create comfortable microclimate in summer.
Inverter technology:
Automatic power adjustment allows the pump to adapt to the needs of the system, providing stable heating and high energy efficiency.
EVI technology (steam injection):
Improves performance at low temperatures by injecting additional steam during compression. This is especially useful in winter, at temperatures below -15°C.
Remote access via Wi-Fi:
Pump control and monitoring of its operation is possible via smartphone or computer, from anywhere in the world with Internet access.
Reliability and durability:
Usage high -quality materials and modern technologies ensures a long service life. Positive reviews confirm stable operation and comfort.
Advantages for the client when replacing an electric boiler or solid fuel boiler with a heat pump
1. Reduced energy costs:
Heat pumps consume Significantly less electricity to obtain the same amount of heat, same as an electric boiler, which allows save on heating.
2. Environmental friendliness:
Because the pump uses renewable energy from the air, He reduces CO₂ emissions and is more environmentally friendly solution.
3. Versatility:
The heat pump is capable of three functions — heating, cooling and hot water supply. This makes it convenient and versatile solution for comfort all year round.
4. Increased comfort:
The system provides stable temperature and more precise regulation, which is significant improves microclimate in the house.
5. Less maintenance:
Heat pumps require less maintenance, than electrocuted, which reduces operating costs.
6. Durability:
For heat pumps long service life, they are reliable and wear-resistant, which reduces the need for frequent equipment replacement.
Bottom line:
Replacing an electric boiler or solid fuel boiler with a heat pump significantly improves energy efficiency, reduces costs, improves comfort residence and provides positive impact on the environment.
