Task:
The client sought a solution to install more efficient and economical home heating equipment due to the rapid increase in energy prices. An important factor was also the provision of hot water supply based on the operation of a heat pump.
Answer:
After analyzing the presented data, it was decided to install an inverter heat pump Raymer RAY-15DS1-EVI (380V), which, thanks to its technology and high efficiency coefficient, can provide significant savings on heating.
Hot water supply will be provided by installing an indirect heating tank model OKC-300NTR-HP on 300 l.
Scope of work completed
After analyzing the house design, its insulation, A thorough heat pump installation plan has been developed and a location has been selected for the boiler room with the appropriate requirements for the proper operation of all auxiliary system components.
1. Selection of equipment taking into account the climatic conditions of the area
Considering, that the climate in this area is quite moderate, but from time to time the temperature can still reach below -25°C, it was decided to install a Raymer RAY-15DS1 EVI heat pump, which, thanks to inverter technology, easily adapts its operation to weather conditions and is able to operate at temperatures of -30°C.
2. Outdoor unit installation
The outdoor unit of the heat pump was installed on a reliable metal stand, which ensures the stability of the structure. Additionally, the outdoor unit was installed on anti-vibration supports, to reduce vibrations from compressor and fan operation.
The outdoor unit was installed outdoors without any protective structures, in which there are no, actually, necessity, since the TN coating is quite reliable and made of high-quality materials, ensuring the longevity of the unit and its components.
Freon line length 6 m was laid underground - this helps reduce heat loss during heat exchange and prevent external mechanical damage.
3. Installation of the indoor unit

The indoor unit of the Raymer RAY-15DS1-EVI heat pump was installed in a dry, ventilated room with maximum comfortable access for maintenance.
Freon pipes from the outdoor unit were connected, as well as well-insulated hot water pipes to prevent condensation during operation in cooling mode.

5. Hot water supply
Hot water supply is now provided by an indirect heating tank model OKC-300NTR-HP with a built-in coil of 3,2 m² on 300 l. This model is specially designed to work with heat pumps, ensuring optimal heat transfer and high performance.
The boiler is installed close to the heat pump to minimize heat loss and ensure efficient operation of the system.
Coil area 3,2 m² provides a large heat exchange area, which helps the water heat up quickly. The heat pump supply and return lines are connected to the coil.
The installation of safety valves is provided to prevent overpressure and protect the system from overheating.
Auxiliary system components
Raymer 3-way valve 325 TW and circulation pump are important components of an already made heat pump system, which ensure effective control of heat distribution and maintaining stable operation of the heating or hot water supply system.
