Task:
The client was interested in installing a heat pump, because the question arose of reducing heating costs, since before this the heating system operated on the basis of an electric boiler 12 kW, who gave 1 kW of heat per 1 kW of energy consumed. The heat pump has the ability to work as heating, cooling, as well as for hot water supply, which saves a lot of money for the homeowner.
Answer:
After analyzing the presented data, it was decided to install an inverter heat pump Raymer RAY-15DS1-EVI (380V), which, thanks to its technology and high efficiency ratio (SOR 4,82) can provide significant savings on heating costs.
Heat pump control will be configured via Wi-Fi, which provides ease of use and the possibility of remote control.
So, how the “warm floor” system is installed in the house, it is necessary to install a buffer storage tank to retain heat in the system for a long time.
Also, at the request of the customer, a tank for hot water supply will be installed, which will also work on the basis of a heat pump.
It was decided to leave the electric boiler, as a backup heating source in case of technical breakdown of the pump.
Scope of work completed
1. Selection of equipment taking into account the climatic conditions of the area
Considering, that the climate in the Kyiv region has become quite moderate recently, but sometimes the temperature can reach below -20°C, it was decided to install a Raymer RAY-15DS1 EVI heat pump, which, thanks to inverter technology, easily adapts its operation to weather conditions and is able to operate at temperatures of -30°C.
2. Outdoor unit installation
During installation, the location of the outdoor unit was carefully considered, taking into account access for maintenance and optimal functioning of the system. This will ensure ease during service work., and also protect the system from overheating or excessive accumulation of snow or ice.
High protection class allows the unit to withstand various weather conditions without loss of performance.
The outdoor unit was installed on a special stand, which guarantees the stability of the entire structure. The stand is created in this way, to support the weight of the block and provide a secure fit.
To reduce vibrations, which may occur during compressor and fan operation, the outdoor unit was additionally equipped with anti-vibration supports, which help reduce noise levels and provide more comfortable operation of the system.
The length of the freon line with turns is about 4-5 meters, which ensures optimal connection between the external unit and the internal components of the system.
3. Installation of the indoor unit
The indoor unit of the Raymer RAY-15DS1 EVI heat pump was installed in the boiler room of the house. The block is placed in a specially prepared place, which provides convenient access for maintenance and connection of all necessary communications. Thanks to its compact indoor placement, managed to save space and ensure optimal air circulation.
The indoor unit was firmly fixed to the wall using reliable fasteners, which minimizes the possibility of vibrations during operation. The piping system was connected taking into account all standards and using thermal insulation materials, which can significantly reduce heat loss.
Freon line, connecting the indoor unit to the outdoor, laid according to all technical requirements and appropriate insulation to maintain energy efficiency. All connections have been carefully checked for leaks, which ensures stable operation of the system.
4. Connecting a buffer tank
storage tank Raymer IMP 60 was successfully installed in the hot water system. This stainless steel tank provides long-lasting, efficient hot water storage., guaranteeing high standards of quality and reliability.
Thanks to its design, The tank can withstand high temperatures and pressure, making it ideal for use in combination with heat pumps. The inner surface is covered with a special protective layer, preventing corrosion and ensuring long-term operation.
The tank was installed above the hot water tank on reliable wall mounts, that could support the weight of the tank. All connections have been made with safety and efficiency in mind, and were also properly insulated to prevent heat loss.
storage tank Raymer IMP 60 effectively integrated into the heat pump system and allows you to quickly heat water to the desired temperature and maintain it at the required level.
5. Hot water connection
Indirect heating tank Raymer DHWP 200L was integrated into the hot water supply system. This stainless steel tank provides high performance and reliability, making it an excellent choice for household needs.
Tank volume is 200 liters, which provides enough hot water for a large family. It is made of stainless steel, which guarantees long service life and corrosion resistance. Internal heat exchanger ensures efficient water heating, allowing you to quickly reach the desired temperature.
Tank installed on the floor, allowing easy access for maintenance and inspection. All connections are properly insulated, which helps reduce heat loss and increases the energy efficiency of the system.
After installation was completed, the system was tested, and all parameters confirmed its effectiveness and reliability. Raymer DHWP 200L indirect heating tank will provide a stable and efficient supply of hot water, increasing comfort and ease of use.
5. Installing additional system components
Raymer circulation pump 325 TW and three way valve were installed in the heating system, which significantly increases its efficiency and reliability.
Raymer circulation pump 325 TW ensures continuous movement of coolant in the system, maintaining uniform heat distribution throughout all rooms. It is specially installed to optimize energy consumption and reduce energy costs. Thanks to its power and reliable design, the pump operates efficiently at different temperatures and loads, making it an excellent choice for use in heat pump heating systems.
Three-way valve, in its turn, is responsible for automatically switching coolant flows between different systems – heating and hot water supply. This allows you to optimize system operation and reduce energy costs, because the valve automatically regulates the coolant supply depending on the need. Its robust design ensures long service life and trouble-free operation.
Both components are integrated into the system, which allows you to achieve high energy efficiency and ensure a comfortable microclimate in the house. After installation the system was tested, and its functionality has confirmed its effectiveness in providing heating and hot water supply. Raymer circulation pump 325 TW and three-way valve have become important elements for the stable and reliable operation of the entire system.
