Previously, the house was heated with an electric boiler. The system worked properly, however, winter electricity bills were significant, because the boiler consumes a lot of energy. In addition, the lack of flexible control over temperature conditions made this solution not always convenient for owners.
After analyzing the heat loss of the house, the state of insulation and the length of existing communications, it was decided to switch to a modern and energy-efficient solution - installing an air source heat pump Raymer RAY-15DS2-EVI.

1. Installation of the Raymer RAY-15DS2-EVI heat pump
After the preparatory work and analysis of the existing heating system, we proceeded directly to the installation of the heat pump.
The Raymer RAY-15DS2-EVI external unit was installed next to the house on a special metal frame, raised above ground level to protect from snow and precipitation. To reduce vibrations and ensure quiet operation, the equipment used anti-vibration resistance. This guarantees free air circulation around the unit and safe operation even in winter.
Insulated pipelines were laid from the outdoor unit, passing through a prepared hole in the wall and connected to the hydraulic module in the boiler room. An additional drainage system is equipped to remove condensate, prevents ice formation while the pump is operating in heating mode.
2. Installation of a hydraulic engine
The heat pump hydraulic module was installed in the boiler house, where the electric boiler used to work. Thanks to its compact size, it fits seamlessly into the existing space and did not require additional redevelopment.
The main task of the hydromodule is to transfer thermal energy from the external unit to the heating system of the house. It was connected because of the buffer tank, which was already installed previously and used with an electric boiler. This integration allowed us to save money and make the most efficient use of existing infrastructure.
Special attention was paid to the automation system. The hydraulic module is equipped with a controller, allowing you to adjust the temperature, manage operating modes and monitor efficiency in real time. This ensures complete autonomy of the system and comfort for residents without the need for constant manual intervention.
3. Connection to the DHW tank and buffer tank
The heat pump hydraulic module is connected simultaneously to the buffer tank and the indirect heating boiler. The buffer tank is used to stabilize the operation of the heating system - it accumulates coolant and ensures its uniform supply to the circuits of radiators or heated floors. A circulation pump is connected to the buffer, pumping water through the system, maintaining stable pressure and temperature.
The second tank is an indirect heating boiler for hot water supply. It contains a heat exchanger, through which the coolant from the hydraulic module passes, heating water for domestic needs. The system automation is configured like this, that, if necessary, the hot water boiler is heated first, and only then the heat goes to heating through a buffer tank.
Additionally, an expansion tank is integrated into the system, compensating for pressure changes when heating or cooling the coolant. This scheme allows you to simultaneously provide the building with heat and hot water., reduce the load on the heat pump compressor and improve overall energy efficiency.
4. Installing stabilizers to protect the heat pump
To protect the heating system and all household appliances in the house, a three-phase set of Elex Hertz voltage stabilizers is installed - one for each phase. This decision was not chosen by chance, After all, power surges quite often occur in rural networks, phase imbalances or low performance, which can negatively affect the operation of the heat pump, pumping groups, electronics and other consumers.
Elex Hertz stabilizers are known for their high voltage equalization accuracy, quick response to changes and reliability in long-term operation. Each phase is connected separately, thanks to which it was possible to achieve maximum stability of the system even with significant fluctuations in the network.
