For a new house with an area of ​​approx. 100 m² customer was looking for a modern and economical heating and cooling solution. Basic requirements - efficiency, compactness of the equipment due to the limited space in the boiler room and the ability to provide the house with hot water. The versatility of the system was also important: so that it can work not only for heating in winter, but also for cooling in summer.

1. The first stage is installation of the external unit

2. Installation of the Raymer G180/65 combination tank (DHW 180L + Buffer 65L)

In this project, for a boiler room with limited space, it was decided to use a Raymer G180/65 combination tank. Its design combines two main components in one housing:

Hot water tank (DHWP) – 180 liters.
This volume provides a stable supply of hot water for the needs of a family from 3-5 Human, allowing you to comfortably use the shower, kitchen and other water points.

Buffer capacity – 65 liters.
It functions as a hydraulic stabilizer for a heat pump:

  • reduces the number of compressor starts,
  • protects equipment from overload,
  • accumulates part of the thermal energy and ensures smoother operation of the heating system.

Features of installation

Due to the limited space in the boiler room, using a separate DHW boiler and buffer tank would not be possible. Therefore, the hybrid model became the optimal solution, allowing you to save space without losing functionality.

The tank is integrated into the heat pump system, which allows you to maintain a high level of energy efficiency and stable hydraulic balance.

4. Voltage stabilizer for protection against voltage surges

A voltage stabilizer was installed in the building even before the installation of the heat pump began.. This decision became an important component of the entire system, since the stabilizer provides protection against power surges and guarantees safe and stable operation of the equipment. It equalizes the voltage in the network, thanks to which all devices from household appliances to complex heating and automation systems work without failures.

The stabilizer extends the service life of equipment, protects against the risk of breakdowns and ensures continuous operation even in cases of, when critical surges or voltage sags occur in the network. Thus, its presence was an additional guarantee of the reliability of the entire engineering system of the house.

The pre-installed stabilizer in the house was sufficient to protect household appliances and standard equipment, however, its power was not enough for the full operation of the entire system, taking into account the new heat pump. Heat pumps have high energy consumption and are particularly sensitive to voltage fluctuations, therefore there was a need for a more powerful solution.
